Daniel Andrews has lost control of population growth and it’s putting enormous pressure on our schools.
That’s why an elected Liberal Nationals government will commit $2.5 million to build a new multi-purpose space at Koo Wee Rup Primary School.
The school will have an enrolment of over 300 students in 2019, with these students forced to use a sub-standard multi-purpose space that is described as a ‘shed’; with reports of pests such as rats, birds and snakes being able to get inside.
This funding will create a dedicated space for students to participate in physical education in a safe environment that can be used in all weather conditions year-round.
Only the Liberal Nationals will get back in control of population growth and back Koo Wee Rup Primary School, so that the children will receive the very best education.
Comments attributable to Shadow Minister for Education, Tim Smith:
“Out of control population growth caused by the Andrews Labor Government’s lack of planning is placing enormous pressure on our schools.
The students, teachers and families of Koo Wee Rup Primary School deserve modern facilities and only a Liberal Nationals Government will make this happen.”
Comments attributable to Member for Bass, Brian Paynter:
“In one of the fastest growing areas of Koo Wee Rup, students from Koo Wee Rup Primary School will greatly benefit from modern and contemporary facilities.
Koo Wee Rup is a wonderful school and this upgrade will help students achieve great educational outcomes.”
